VERNON HILLS, Ill., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Diversified Foodservice Supply (DFS), a leading distributor of commercial kitchen equipment, replacement parts, and supplies, today announced the appointment of Chris Cassidy as Chief Operating Officer. Cassidy brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning global supply chain management, logistics technology, and operations.

Throughout his career, Cassidy has served as CEO of two companies and held senior executive roles across the technology, logistics, and healthcare sectors. His background includes more than a decade with global healthcare leader GSK, where he directed international logistics operations. He subsequently led global healthcare logistics strategy at UPS and served as Chief Revenue Officer at Trax Technologies.

Most recently, Cassidy served as President and CEO of ConData, a global freight audit and analytics firm. Prior to that, he was CEO of Mojix, a supply chain software company, guiding the business through its merger with Seagull Software.

His leadership will help build on DFS's legacy by reinforcing a customer-first culture of operational excellence focused on delivering the right product, at the right price, with the right delivery.
